The Fforwm Dome is a unique, flexible space to hire in the Edw Valley, just four miles from Builth Wells in Mid Wales.
Arrange it however you like, tables in a circle for workshops or meetings, rows for talks and teaching, theatre style, or left open for gathering, creating, playing, and quiet discussions.
With sockets where you need them, stove warmth on cool mornings, and room to spread out, it’s a space that adapts to you without ever feeling boxed in.
Step outside and the valley unfolds around you, fields, tracks, and hill views waiting to be woven into your day, whether that’s a walk between sessions, an outdoor activity, or simply time to pause.
The Fforwm Dome is available to hire for a wide range of uses.

Half Day | £60
Half a day in the Dome gives you time to arrive, settle in and get focused work done without rushing. Ideal for workshops, short learning sessions, talks or local meetings that suit a morning or afternoon, with time to step outside between sessions.
Full Day | £90
A full day in the Dome lets conversations go deeper and ideas unfold at a natural pace. Ideal for off-sites, learning days, shared meals or community gatherings where you want time to arrive, think together and finish the day without feeling hurried.
2-Days | £160
Two days in the Dome give you space to land , stretch out your plans and make the most of the valley . Ideal for retreats, training blocks or longer gatherings where you want unhurried sessions, shared meals and time to weave in walks and outdoor time.
What’s included
Use of the Dome for your booked time, power, lighting and heating, tea & coffee station, tables and chairs arranged as you need them, access to the surrounding landscape and walking routes, and support with setting up the space at the start of your hire.
Extras can be added to turn your booking into a full day or stay on site. Catering can be arranged, freshly prepared meals or buffet tables. You’re also welcome to ask about firepits and campfires, guided walks, lakeside time, creative sessions with local practitioners, AV and flipchart support, or camping and overnight stays for your group.
The landscape around the Fforwm Dome is part of the experience. The Dome sits in the hidden headwaters of the Edw Valley, wrapped in hills, woods, tracks and open common land that feel a long way from rush and routine.
Paths lead straight from the door into fields, around the lake, up onto the hill and out along old drovers’ ways, so breaks can become walks, and a meeting can spill naturally into the landscape.
In bright weather the valley feels wide and full of light; in rain and mist it gathers close, rich with colour, sound and movement.
However long you stay, it’s easy to feel that this stretch of valley is yours for a while; a place to wander, notice, talk, or simply stand still and breathe.
