A family Field Day at Fforest Fields in support of Friends of Llanelwedd School, with a gentle nature ramble, picnic in the meadow, games, and time together in the landscape.

About the Event
Join us for a relaxed family Field Day at Fforest Fields, raising important funds for outdoor areas and activities at Llanelwedd School.
We’ll head out on a gentle group ramble through the fields, woodland paths and wild edges of the farm, looking for creatures, plant life and signs of the season along the way, before returning to the wildflower meadow for a picnic together.
We’ll be joined by Ranger Lou and Sorcha Lewis, farmer and ecologist from the Elan Valley.
Please bring your own picnic. Coffee, snacks, ice-cream and cakes will be available to buy.
£10 per adult. Children free.
The ramble is suitable for all ages. Prams would struggle in places, but helpful pushers will be available for support. Carry packs are recommended if possible. We will be going at a very gentle pace.
