About The Fforwm

A place for people, ideas, and the land to meet

The Fforwm is a gathering place in a hidden valley on the fringes of Aberedw Hill, in the wild heart of Radnorshire on the eastern border of Wales. It’s a landmark where people come to reconnect; with nature, with each other, and with the things that matter to them. Set on a 500-acre working farm at Fforest Fields, surrounded by wild swimming lakes, forest tracks, and sweeping ancient hills.

Whether you’re here for a retreat, a workshop, a team day, a ceremony, a gathering, a film night, a feast, or just fresh perspective, this is a space shaped by the people who use it.  We're pleased you've found us and can't wait to see you here!

 Our Story

The Fforwm was born from a lifetime spent outdoors; learning, exploring, and gathering with others under open skies and around warm fires. It grew out of a love for shared ideas, hands-on experiences, and the kind of deep connection that only happens when people meet face-to-face. Over the years, we found ourselves wishing for a space that could hold all of this, a place for rain or shine, for honest conversation, for making, thinking, playing, and learning side by side. So in 2025 we built it to run alongside our established campsite and holiday business Fforest Fields.
